A Saint Vincent visa is not required of citizens of Azerbaijan, and you may stay up to three months. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a small Caribbean state made up of 32 islands: the names Bequia, Mustique and the Tobago Cays are famous in the yachting and cruise world, and Wallilabou Bay, where «Pirates of the Caribbean» was filmed, is here too. Very few people go from Azerbaijan, so this article mainly answers the practical question: how do you get there and what do you need to be ready for?

No Saint Vincent visa, but there is the transit
On the Caribbean islands the visa question usually arises not in the country itself but on the way. There are two routes to Saint Vincent from Europe. The first is London: Virgin Atlantic flies a seasonal direct service from London to Saint Vincent, and the flight is about 9 hours. As long as you do not leave the transit zone at Heathrow, a citizen of Azerbaijan needs no UK visa. The second is Barbados: there are daily flights from London to Bridgetown, and from there it is a 45-minute flight to Saint Vincent with interCaribbean and the local airlines; Barbados also admits citizens of Azerbaijan without a visa. There are more flights via the USA, but the USA requires a visa even for transit.

The route and the cost from Baku to Saint Vincent
The typical route is Baku–Istanbul–London–Saint Vincent or Baku–London–Bridgetown–Saint Vincent, and the whole journey takes 20–24 hours. The ticket is the largest part of the total cost and a return starts from 2500 manats; when searching for flights to the Caribbean islands, comparing the London leg separately brings the price down considerably. For moving between the islands, the ferry from Kingstown to Bequia is 1 hour, and small planes or boats go to Mustique and Union island.

How many islands in one trip without a Saint Vincent visa?
The Grenadines are the best yachting route in the Caribbean: from Bequia to the Tobago Cays the islands are 1–3 hours’ sailing from one another and most of the chain runs on to Grenada. Grenada also admits citizens of Azerbaijan without a visa, which means two countries can be covered in one yacht trip. Cruise ships call at Kingstown and Bequia; in Caribbean cruise programmes Saint Vincent is usually on the same route as Barbados and Saint Lucia, and all three are visa-free.
