Azerbaijani citizens can travel to Uzbekistan without a visa. The agreement between the two countries allows a stay of up to 90 days on an ordinary passport. A valid passport is enough at the border.
Under a protocol that came into force on 15 January 2024, no registration is required for trips of up to 15 days. For longer stays, residence registration must be completed; hotels usually handle this themselves, but if you are staying in a private flat the responsibility is yours. Work and study are not covered by this arrangement.
