Visa types for Tanzania

Tanzania offers Azerbaijani citizens an e-visa, and the application is made entirely online. The visa-on-arrival option remains, but the electronic route is more dependable.

The standard tourist visa is valid for up to 90 days and is designed for a single entry. A multiple-entry option also exists and costs twice as much. A passport scan, a photo, return tickets and proof of accommodation are attached to the application.

When planning the route, note two details: Zanzibar is part of Tanzania, so no separate visa is required, but compulsory travel insurance is checked on entry to the island. For the Serengeti and Kilimanjaro, a yellow fever vaccination certificate may be requested. Viza.az confirms these conditions in advance.
