Lake Iskanderkul and the Fann Mountains in Tajikistan — visa for Tajikistan

Visa-free travel

Tajikistan Visa

Visa-free entry with a stay of up to 90 days.

Azerbaijani citizens can travel to Tajikistan without a visa. Under the agreement you may stay in the country for up to three months on an ordinary passport. At the border only a valid passport is presented.

Some border regions and zones such as Gorno-Badakhshan require a separate permit; if your route takes you there, arrange it in advance. Work and study are not possible under this arrangement.

Dushanbe, Lake Iskanderkul and the Pamir Highway are chosen for nature routes. AZAL runs direct flights from Baku to Dushanbe; the schedule is limited, so tickets should be bought in advance, and mountain routes depend heavily on the season. Viza.az checks that the mountain route suits the season and plans tickets and accommodation.
