Visa types for South Korea

Azerbaijani citizens need a visa to travel to South Korea. The simplified electronic authorisation known as K-ETA does not apply to our passport, so the application is made in the classic way, through the embassy.

The Korean embassy in Baku is in the ISR Plaza building on Nizami Street and accepts documents only by appointment arranged in advance. The appointment must be booked by email at least five working days ahead. This is the key point to allow for when planning.

The short-stay C-3 category covers tourism, family visits and business meetings, and allows a stay of up to 90 days. A decision on short-stay applications takes a few working days; long-stay categories take longer. Viza.az takes care of booking the appointment and preparing the documents to Korean requirements.
