Visa types for Oman

Oman has fully digitised its visa process: the application goes through the official portal of the Royal Oman Police, with no need to visit an embassy or give fingerprints.

The tourist visa comes in two main lengths: 10 days and 30 days. Both are designed for a single entry. The 30-day option can be extended once inside the country by a further 30 days. For longer trips there is also a one-year multiple-entry option.

A reply usually comes within one to three working days, so applying a week before the trip is enough. At entry, compulsory medical insurance, proof of accommodation and an onward ticket may be checked. Viza.az chooses the category that matches your dates and prepares the application.
