Visa types for Mexico

Azerbaijani citizens must obtain a visa in advance to travel to Mexico. Applications are accepted at the consular section of the Mexican embassy in Baku, in the Demirchi Tower building on Khojaly Avenue.

Mexican law contains an important simplification: anyone holding a valid visa for the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom or a Schengen country can enter Mexico without obtaining a separate visa. For the many travellers who hold a US visa, this rule removes the process entirely.

If you do not hold such a visa, a standard consular application is made: an application form, a passport, a photo, financial documents and materials supporting the purpose of the trip are submitted. An interview may be required. Viza.az first checks the visas you already hold and starts the full application process only if it is necessary.
