Visa to Luxembourg: frequently asked questions

In Baku, Luxembourg applications are accepted by the Capago visa centre. The documents are handed in there and the biometrics taken.

Capago’s 26-euro service charge is added to the 35-euro consular fee. The Viza.az side is 95 AZN.

Luxembourg is one of Europe’s banking centres. A business application needs an invitation, a schedule of meetings, a letter from your employer and a travel order. The purpose of the meetings must be stated specifically in the documents.

The country is small and the capital can be seen in 2–3 days. For that reason the route is usually combined with Belgium, Germany or France — in that case, watch the main destination rule.

No. The historic part of the city and the fortress casemates are ordinary tourist sites, and the entry ticket is bought on the spot. It has no bearing on the visa process.

A passport, an application form, a photo, a hotel booking, return tickets, insurance with 30,000 euros of cover, a letter from your employer and a bank statement. On a business trip an invitation is added.

Usually 7 to 15 working days. When the document file is complete the decision comes sooner.

We prepare the document file, check that the invitation meets the requirements and plan the Capago appointment. If the route covers several countries, we choose the country of application together.
