Business owners submit a copy of the tax registration, a turnover certificate from the tax office and a register extract instead; students submit a letter from their institution.

Visa to Lithuania: frequently asked questions

In Baku, Lithuanian applications are accepted by the VFS Global visa centre. The documents are handed in and the biometrics taken there.

There are two official amounts to pay: the 35-euro consular fee and VFS Global’s 21-euro charge. The Viza.az service is 95 AZN.

No extra document is needed for internal journeys. If your route includes nights in both cities, submit the accommodation bookings in date order.

The Curonian Spit has national park status and a local fee is paid to enter the area. This has nothing to do with the visa process and does not affect the document file.

Yes, both countries are in the Schengen zone. If your route leans more towards Poland, it is right to apply to Poland — the main destination rule applies here too.

An invitation from your Lithuanian partner, a letter from your employer, a travel order and a schedule of meetings. If the host is covering the costs, a letter to that effect is attached.

Usually 7 to 15 working days. The process moves faster when the documents are complete.

We prepare the document file, plan the VFS Global appointment and fill in the form. On Baltic routes we also help choose the country to apply to.
