You do not need to obtain a visa in advance to travel to Lebanon, but this is not a fully visa-free arrangement. At Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport and other entry points, Azerbaijani citizens are issued a free visa. The visa is issued for one month and, if needed, can be extended by a further two months on application to the General Security Directorate.
Several conditions apply to the issue of the visa: the passport must carry no Israeli visa or stamp, and you must present a return ticket, an address of stay in Lebanon and a contact number. If any of these conditions is not met, the border service may refuse entry. Make sure your passport has at least six months of validity left.
The regional situation is changeable, so always check the current entry rules and safety advice before you travel. Beirut is known for its Mediterranean shoreline, its historic quarters and its food; the route is usually built with a transfer. Viza.az tracks the connecting flight schedules and prepares documents that meet the border requirements.
