Azerbaijan is on Indonesia’s visa-on-arrival list. That means you can enter the country without applying to an embassy beforehand.
There are two options: arranging the visa on the spot at the airport, or obtaining it before the trip in electronic form, known as e-VOA. The electronic option has the edge, because queues at the Bali and Jakarta airports can be long.
The visa on arrival allows a stay of up to 30 days and can be extended once by a further 30 days. At entry, officers check that the passport has six months of validity left, along with your onward ticket and proof of accommodation. When paying by card, your bank may add its own commission. Viza.az prepares the e-VOA application and makes sure the confirmation arrives in time.
