Visa types for India

India grants Azerbaijani citizens access to an e-visa, which makes it possible to apply without going to the embassy. The form, a passport scan and a photo are uploaded through the official portal, and the confirmation arrives by email.

The electronic tourist visa comes in several versions: 30-day, one-year and five-year. The fee depends on the period chosen, and an additional percentage is charged for the bank transaction. The 30-day e-visa can be used only twice in a calendar year.

Entry on an e-visa is permitted only at designated airports and seaports; land border crossings are not part of the system. It is best to submit the application at least a week before the trip. Viza.az checks that the form is filled in correctly and that the documents meet the requirements.
