Visa to Hungary: frequently asked questions

In Baku, Hungarian applications are accepted by the BLS International visa centre. The centre is the official partner of the Hungarian embassy.

The consular fee is 35 euros and the BLS service charge is about 29 euros (54 AZN). The Viza.az service fee is 95 AZN.

It is paid online before the appointment is confirmed and is not refunded. So fill in the appointment details — name, passport number, date — carefully. A booking made with incorrect details is cancelled and the payment is lost.

BLS accepts applications up to 15 days before the travel date — later applications are not accepted. Be sure to allow for this rule when planning.

On a treatment trip to Hévíz, Budapest or another thermal centre, a confirmation document from the clinic or sanatorium, the programme and the payment receipt strengthen the application. On an ordinary holiday trip this is not required.

BLS advises applicants to book the appointment directly in its own official system. Appointments obtained through third-party sites may be treated as invalid.

Usually 10 to 15 working days. The period can stretch in the summer season and around public holidays.

We prepare the document file, plan the BLS appointment and make sure the online booking is completed correctly. As the payment is non-refundable, we pay particular attention to this stage.
