Visa types for Egypt

Azerbaijani citizens can travel to Egypt on either a visa on arrival or an e-visa. Both options allow a stay of up to 30 days and carry the same fee.

The visa on arrival is issued at all international airports and paid in cash in dollars. The electronic option is bought online before the trip, which is convenient if you would rather not queue at the airport.

For those staying in Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab or Nuweiba there is a separate rule: visa-free entry for up to 14 days is possible provided you remain within the resort zone of the Sinai Peninsula. But if you plan an excursion to Cairo, Luxor or the pyramids, a full visa is essential. The visa requirement also applies to trips to Red Sea provinces such as Hurghada and Marsa Alam. Viza.az works out which option suits your route.
