Ecuador applies visa-free entry for Azerbaijani citizens. On an ordinary passport you may stay up to 90 days within any 12-month period. Make sure your passport has at least six months of validity left.

At the border you may be asked for a return ticket, an address of stay and travel insurance; in a number of cases Ecuador requires insurance as a condition of entry. To extend your stay you must apply to the migration authorities inside the country.

Quito, Cuenca and the Galápagos Islands are the main destinations; the Galápagos have their own entry fee and control rules. There are no direct flights from Baku; the connection goes through Europe or the United States with two transfers. A US visa is required for a transit through the United States.
