Visa types for Cuba

For many years Cuba used a paper tourist card, but that system has been withdrawn and replaced by a fully electronic visa platform. All applications are now accepted online.

The e-visa allows a stay of up to 30 days and can be extended once inside the country. The application process is simple: you fill in the form, enter your passport details and pay the fee online.

Two points need attention. First, medical insurance is compulsory for entry to Cuba and may be checked at the border. Second, sites outside the official platform quote the fee at several times its real level. Viza.az makes the application through the official channel and settles the insurance question in advance.
