Visa types for Croatia

Croatia has been a member of the Schengen area since 2023 and issues type C Schengen visas. Applications are accepted at the VFS Global centre in Baku.

The consular fee is 35 euros; the visa centre’s charge is calculated separately. Demand for the Adriatic is high in summer, so the appointment should be planned early.

Dubrovnik, Split, Zagreb and the Plitvice Lakes are the main destinations. Coastal routes are usually combined with Slovenia, Bosnia or Montenegro; since 2026 Montenegro requires a visa from Azerbaijani citizens, though holders of a valid multiple-entry Schengen visa may enter for up to 30 days. Viza.az plans the application early, allowing for the pressure on summer appointments.
