Brussels is the seat of the European Union institutions, and for trips of this kind the formality of the invitation is decisive. The name of the event, its date, the address where it is held and the details of the inviting body must all appear clearly in the document. A letter written in general terms is not enough.

The organiser’s invitation, confirmation of registration, a letter from your employer and a travel order. If the employer is covering the costs, a letter to that effect is attached. The hotel booking must cover the full dates of the event.

Yes — both countries are in the Schengen zone. Just bear in mind that the application should be made to the country where you will spend the most time. On Benelux routes this rule is often broken and questions arise at the border.

The standard period is 7 to 15 working days. It can stretch during the trade fair season and in the summer months. If the event date is fixed, submit the application at least a month ahead.

No. The visa covers the whole country and does not differ by city. If your itinerary includes several cities, it is enough to submit a booking document for each place you stay.

We put together the document file, check that the invitation meets the requirements, plan the Capago appointment and fill in the form. On business trips we pay particular attention to the documents confirming one another.
