Nassau harbour, cruise ships and turquoise water — visa for the Bahamas

Visa-free travel

the Bahamas Visa

Visa-free entry with a stay of up to three months.

The Bahamas admits Azerbaijani citizens without a visa. On an ordinary passport you may stay in the island state for up to three months. Your passport must remain valid for at least six months after the date of arrival.

On arrival you must show a confirmed hotel booking and a return ticket. You may be asked to fill in an electronic arrival and departure card at entry. Working and long-term stays are not covered by this arrangement.

Nassau, Paradise Island and Exuma are the usual choices for beach holidays and cruise routes. The route is normally built with a transfer through the United States or Europe; if you plan to connect via the US, sort out the transit visa question in advance. Viza.az builds the route with those transit conditions in mind whenever a US connection is involved.
